KSnake (also known under the name Rattler's Race), is a funny little
game, where you steer a snake through a room and have to eat red
apples, while avoiding the computer snakes and the computer balls.
It appears that there is not really an official homepage for KSnake,
but the latest package can always be found under:
, if I'm
not mistaken. And of course, every Linux-distribution with KDE
()
also has it.
I have made a couple of new levels, and you can have them:
All you have to do, is to put them into the directory
~/.kde/share/apps/ksnake/ - if your're using KDE, that is,
I haven't got any experience with other desktop environments
(once you have played KSnake, that directory
should already exist) and give them a name like room35. If you
have only the standard installation with 25 levels, then name them
room26, room27,... . If you have already installed
additional levels, then you know what to do, don't you?
If you need the Windows-version, here is the
zip-file.
