Linuxberg.
This page has many a links for the people who think that Linux is great.
GNU.
GNU is the biggest place where you can get free and great software, originally for UNIX, Linux. Most of the programs, however, are ported to the MS- and Mac-worlds.
The GIMP.
The `GNU Image Manipulation Program' is great tool for making and changing images. I made basically all graphics on my pages using it. The best is: It's free!.
RIPE NCC.
If you know the IP-address or the name of a computer and you want to find out who is maintaining it then this is the site you want.
SSH.
The Secure Shell Program allows the encrypted transfer of files from one machine to another, which is nice if you don't want other people to see what you are transferring.
PGP.
Pretty Good Privacy is used if you want to send encrypted Emails or attach a key to prove that you are the real sender.
